Q. Can I book & pay for a holiday home directly online?

A. Yes, when you have chosen the holiday home for you, click on the arrival & departure calendar icons on the property page and select your preferred dates ~ the tariff will then calculate automatically and display above. If you are happy to proceed; please click on the green 'Book now!' button. On the following page, you can then select to pay either by wire transfer or credit/debit card.

Please fill in the booking form on the next page and press submit at the bottom of the page. The following page is either bank transfer instructions (if you have opted to pay by wire transfer) or a page requesting you to select your credit/debit card type. After choosing your card type, you then go on to enter your card information on the following payment page, safely & securely.

Q. Do you display accurate calendars?

A. Yes, all of our properties display real-time calendars (when you see the big green 'Book now!' button on the page). When a booking is made at any time of day, anywhere in the world ~ the property calendar is immediately updated automatically when a booking is made.

Where a property has a large green 'Enquire now!' button displayed (instead of a Book now! button, which the vast majority of properties have) ~ this means that we need to check availability calendars for this chosen property before confirming a booking is possible.

Q. How do I check to see if my holiday dates are available?

A. Simply click on the property you are interested in viewing, then click either the 'calendar' tab under the main gallery photo or alternatively click on the 'arrival & 'departure' calendar icons in the 'tariff calculator' box, to the left of the main gallery photo.

Q. Can I book a Short Break?

A. Yes, the majority of the holiday homes featured on our website accepts 'Short Breaks'. The majority of homes displayed can be booked for 3 nights and more but there are the odd few places that accept 1 or 2-night bookings!

Q. What payment types do you accept?

A. We accept Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal as well plus the option to make your holiday payment by bank wire transfer.

Q. What do I receive after I've booked & paid for the holiday property?

A. Within seconds of submitting your credit, debit card, or PayPal payment; an automated booking form and payment receipt will be sent to the email address you entered when filling out the booking form.

Six weeks before your arrival date (if you haven't already remembered), a balance payment reminder will be sent to you with all the information you need, including your guest reference no. and the balance amount outstanding.

Following your balance payment, downloadable PDF arrival information & directions will be sent to your email address given at the time of booking.

Q. What deposit will I need to pay to secure a holiday home booking?

A. A 30% deposit payment is required at the time of booking. If paying by credit card then you can pay directly online after you have completed the booking form. If you have chosen to pay by wire bank transfer, then you have 2-3 days to arrange the deposit payment with your bank.

Q. What is included in the holiday home tariff price?

A. All linen, bathroom towels, cleaning & utilities are included in the tariff of all but one or two properties where oil-fired heating is used, for example, whereby a small winter fuel cost is applied if your booking is taken in the coldest months, for example, December, January & February in the UK.

Q. What time can we arrive and what time do we have to leave the holiday property?

A.   Almost all holiday homes display a guest arrival time from 4 pm onwards (with the exception of a few properties whereby the time of arrival is 3 pm for small places or 5 pm for larger properties.

Q. We don't want to leave our beloved dog behind ~ can we bring it along with us?

A. Some of our properties are 'Pet Friendly' ~ to search for these special holiday homes, either select the Pet-Friendly Square on our Home page or alternatively, use the filter selection options on the Filter panel on the left side of the destination pages.

Q. Do I need holiday insurance?

A. If you don't already have holiday insurance, we will always recommend that get some so as to avoid disappointment if, for some unexpected reason, you need to cancel your holiday home booking.

We can recommend Insurefor.com ~ they have a great selection of products but do read the terms carefully in order to select the right insurance for you and your family.

Q. If I don't have and holiday insurance and need to cancel my holiday, what refund can I expect?

A.  You can read our full Terms & Conditions here. If you need to cancel, we endeavor to rebook your dates and if successful, you will only forfeit your deposit which is non-refundable. If the holiday rental has been paid in full, you will be entitled to some refund depending on a number of weeks before your arrival date, please refer to the link to our Terms above, for a full description of our refund policy.

Q. What options do we have should our booking be affected by Covid-19 restrictions?
