Church View Cottage is a Victorian terraced property, overlooking the stunning 15th century church of St Michael, located within easy walking distance of the village shops, pub and art gallery. This spacious, two-bedroom property offers good-sized bedrooms, a bright, well-supplied kitchen / dining area, a large modern bathroom and cosy living room with wood burning stove. A small enclosed courtyard at the rear of the property contains a table with seating for four people. This courtyard overlooks the church, offering a lovely, peaceful spot from which to make the most of the afternoon sun.

Approximate travel time is 2 hours from London by car and 1.5 hours from Cambridge. The nearest railway stations are Saxmundham or Darsham (4 miles away).

The charming village of Peasenhall is worth exploring as there are a number of fine buildings dating back to medieval times including The New Inn and the Ancient House. There are also a number of independent shops to explore. Besides curing their own world-renowned meats, Emmetts also has a café providing breakfast and lunch and is just steps away from the front door of Church View Cottage. The neighbouring parish of Sibton boasts the White Horse Inn, an award-winning pub which is 20 minute’s walk away.

Peasenhall is ideally situated to explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside including the Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a short drive over to RSPB Minsmere where there are beautiful walks taking in the birds, wildlife and unique habitat of the sandlings heaths. The quiet roads also provide an ideal opportunity to experience the countryside on two wheels and there are a number of designated national and regional cycle routes in the area. Further afield the towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold both situated on the coast are worth a visit.

In land, Framlingham is a busy market town hosting its market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The town is overlooked by the Castle and there are a number of walks around it and the neighbouring Mere. If you fancy a stop to watch the world go by then head to The Dancing Goat for a hot chocolate or The Crown for something a little more substantial.
