A lovely comfortable cottage. We had a great time despite changing weather. Saw dolphins at New Quay and the beach at Newgale is lovely. The tapestry in Fishguard is well worth seeing, especially on a rainy day - in the Town Hall. The cake was lovely. Thank you from us all.

Ael y Bryn was the perfect holiday home for our family of 5. We had a lovely welcome from the owners, including a delicious cake and some milk. The house is a great combination of character and home comforts. Lovely garden with seating area and nice views to the surrounding countryside. Perfect quiet location but literally within a few minutes walk of gorgeous Newport, with its fantastic shops, cafes and restaurants - and charming toy museum. All that you need for the week. Lots of lovely walks direct from the house and a fantastic beach. Couldn't wish for more. We will be back.

We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and dining area. We felt very much at home, so much better than a hotel. The Bara Brith was very much appreciated. Our brother loved walking to the castle early each morning. The Castle Inn Pub provided excellent food with an extensive menu and friendly hospitality.

Family Easter holiday. Very relaxing and made good use of the cottage in terms of facilities there and location. Wifi at the cottage was good and is essential as no mobile signal in Newport. Owner is lovely and cottage is well equipped and fantastic.
Tips: Visit the Canteen restaurant in Newport; it's fantastic! Also a walk to Newport Beach via the iron bridge and golf course is lovely. Golf course looks great although didn't get a chance to play.

Excellent property. It was roomy and comfortable and in a great location, close to centre of village but extremely quiet.

The house is well furnished and homely. It is in a very convenient position for the local shops, pub, restaurants and walks. It has a good outside area. It was ideal for a holiday with children. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.
We enjoyed Cilgeren Castle, Castle Henlys and the Nevern Show. Parrog and the beach were good places to go. We enjoyed a meal at Tavern Sinc in Rosebush.

Lovely welcome by the owners who made you feel at home as soon as you stepped in through the door. The house was located near numerous traditional shops not far from a beautiful scenic sandy beach. Eating out. We as a family had a lovely Sunday lunch in the Royal Oak which was a five minute walk from the cottage. Dyfed Shire Horse Farm well worth a visit also Manor Park Wildlife park.
