Kent countryside stunningly beautiful, villages picture postcard perfect, historical buildings & gardens a go go. Barclay Farmhouse Cottage the perfect retreat after days out.

We liked the property very much and the owner was very helpful and also generous with the welcoming pack she provided, our only criticism would be that it was very difficult getting in and out of the main bed on one side due to the sloping ceiling. Overall the property was clean, well furnished, comfortable and in a lovely setting.

The owner was there to meet us and was very helpful and friendly. She also provided a generous and comprehensive 'welcome pack' of goodies.

I cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay at Barclay Farm Cottage, the standard was exceptional and the welcome was amazing. There was absolutely everything you could need inside the cottage and the grounds are so pleasing and quiet.

The welcome pack was an added bonus, very well thought out - especially the coffee granules for the cafetiere.

A lovely cottage with welcoming hosts, a very generous welcome pack + beautiful location, ideal for relaxing and for exploring Kent in all directions. New experience for us northerners was being serenaded by a nightingale.Would certainly consider staying again.
