Absolutely beautiful property and location.

Lovely views over the field and lake gave a nice rural feel to the cottage, despite the proximity to the main road. Very dog friendly, which is always a plus - securely fenced garden, a dog blanket and bowl provided. Bathroom very nice, and beds comfortable. Parking area was a bit of a trek, with luggage to carry! But, all in all, we enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

We had a few problems with our car during the stay requiring it to go to the garage, The owner was very helpful and accommodating allowing us to delay our departure so that we could go directly to the garage and then home to Essex.

Thank you for your welcome package, lovely. Barley Byre is a nice cosy cottage and the fenced garden is nice for my little dog. Nice green views. We did the walk to the Ewe and Lamb pub, good food and friendly. Also the Bull in Benenden is nice on Sundays (blues music) We visited Canterbury, Sissinghurst garden and went by train from Tenterden to Bodiam, a good afternoon tea, nice walks in the surroundings, public footpaths are very nice.

Wonderful property in a lovely location with a small private gated garden. Very friendly owners left us a lovely hamper of local produce and were there if we needed them. The property is newly renovated to a high standard and I would highly recommend a stay here with a family as there are loads of things to do and see nearby.

What a beautiful place! It's a shame that we were only here for a couple of days but we've had a great time. The lake is great and our dog loved swimming in it. We all found the log burner very cosy. We hope to see you again soon.
