This stylish end of terrace cottage is situated in a peaceful location in the picturesque coastal village of Holme-next-the-Sea, just a few minutes' walk from a sandy beach and good village pub/restaurant and North Norfolk's stunning heritage coastline.
Ideal for either a couple, small group of friends or family, Barnwell Cottage offers the opportunity to spend quality time away together in a comfortable cottage in a good location.
Step inside and you’ll appreciate the effort the owner has made to make this little cottage as charming as possible, with modern fixtures and fittings and an assortment of pretty vintage finds. With three bedrooms, one king size and one double plus a single room, two spacious shower rooms, a modern kitchen and cosy sitting room this cottage delivers on lots of levels. And when the nights draw in, the cottage comes into its own with a gorgeous wood burning stove to keep you extra warm.
During the summer months, the courtyard garden immediately behind the cottage is a little sun-trap, crying out for a morning coffee and croissant, while the separate garden located a few steps across a right of way can accommodate alfresco dining and is fully-enclosed and so secure enough for both children and a dog to play safely.
The village pub, The White Horse, serves great home-cooked food and has a garden and children’s play area. A few minutes in the car takes you to the village of Thornham with its gastro pubs and eateries – The Yurt, Eric's award-winning fish and chip restaurant and the Thornham Deli – plus independent shops, including Drove Orchards with its farm shop and pick-your-own fruit farm and cider press.

The coastal village of Holme-next-the-Sea has huge sandy beaches - plenty of space for kicking a ball around and exercising dogs, wildlife watching, building sandcastles and enjoying picnics, without ever getting in anyone’s way.
The White Horse is an excellent pub in the village serving delicious food and regular cask ales. The special steak and burger night along with pie night definitely add something memorable to a holiday. Holme-next-the-Sea is also just three miles from the historic seaside resort of Hunstanton and all the entertainment and facilities you could ever need, whatever the weather or season.
Holme Dune Nature Reserve, where The Wash estuary meets the North Sea, is a magnet for migrating birds and a popular birdwatchers haunt, together with neighbouring Titchwell RSPB reserve. Holme is also where the historic Peddars Way path ends, and the location of the discovery of Seahenge, the bronze age timber circle discovered in 1998 on Holme-next-the-Sea beach, which is now preserved and a fascinating sight to see at Lynn Museum.
With so much of interest for young and old, Holme-next-the-Sea makes a great holiday base throughout the seasons and perfectly positioned to explore the whole Norfolk coast.
