The house is really comfortable and cosy. Firewood was provided for the woodburner in the kitchen (the living room has an electric log-effect fire). The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location is pretty, right by the side of the River Severn with a private garden area with barbecue for the use of guests. You can walk into Llanidloes via a footpath and quiet roads in about 30 minutes. By car it's about 5 minutes away.

A great cottage in a peaceful secluded spot, but still only four minutes from town.

23 Oct 2017

This cottage was just about perfect for us. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for the 3 adults in our party. Although wonderfully secluded, the property had fantastic road links to everywhere else that we wanted to go. I wish we'd had longer. I'd really love to come back here. The hosts were brilliant, friendly and really kind in welcoming us. Loved it. Great holiday.

Mrs Karen Smith

We had a wonderful stay with Sandra and Glyn, they were more than accommodating. The two feeds of trout were over and above anything we expected. We would recommend this place to others and would certainly book again should we be in this part of the country in the future.

Our stay at Berthllwyd was fantastic. It's central position in Wales gives you a great base to travel around from. Sandra and Glyn have great local knowledge and they go out of their way to make sure you get the best out of your holiday. The advice they give about the surrounding area was priceless. We as a family will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this property.

Mrs Clarke
