This property was an amazing place to rent for a holiday. Everything has been well thought out within the house and the location and views were stunning. After renting many places for our holidays over the past 20 years one things stood out for me. The owner Margaret, she kindly checked in on us the day we arrived to see if everything was in order and then the morning we left she popped by to say goodbye and asked if we had had a good time. It was such a personal touch and one that really went along way with us. She obviously works very hard to keep the property in excellent shape and also immaculate for your visit.

A beautiful, spacious and immaculately clean cottage, set in a tranquil location. The cottage is set in a great setting on the hillside, but still within walking distance of Dolgellau. There are walks and stunning views of Cadair Idris from the cottage and castles and beaches within 20-30 minutes drive. We have visited the cottage many times now and it is a home from home. The best holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in.

Excellent property in an ideal location. Nice and private but we were aware we could call on the owners if we had any problems. Nice to find a pet free property.

It's a high quality, beautiful cottage set in a perfect location in open countryside. It's a wonderful spacious and well presented cottage. There are beautiful views of Cadair Idris and the surrounding hills. It's only a 20 minute down the hill into Dolgellau, where there are several very good places to eat in the evening, as well as a range of coffee shops. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind and make the most of the local surroundings.

A lovely cottage, really cosy and warm. Great to have the hot water on constant after our muddy runs and mountain biking. It was a great location for us. We had no problems getting a taxi home on the Saturday night - after a fantastic wine tasting! Great place to stay - and really helpful company. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful cottage set in beautiful surroundings. The scenery and peace are breathtaking. Harlech Castle and beach were lovely, as was Bodnant Gardens a little further north. Well worth a day out there. There are so many places to walk locally or visit Barmouth with its long beach of golden sand.

Excellent, well equipped cottage with great views in a nice peaceful location, we had a great time.
Our top tips: Coed y Brenin bike routes (minortaur route great for families), Mawddach trail cycle ride to Barmouth and then get the ferry over to Fairbourne railway, NCN cycle route 8 to Corris was challenging but great. Lots of railways to keep enthusiasts happy. Cader Idris walks on a clear day, and all the shorter local walks when weather isn't so good.

High Spec and a Home from home.
Perfect host, close enough for help and turning up to say hello on arrival. Nothing any trouble. Lovely personal touches around cottage. Tapas in Barmouth too. 'The Tilman' in Barmouth unexpected and very tasty. Also well worth a visit Tapas at 'Tafan y Gader' in Dolgellau (same place that does Sunday lunch) a must visit!!! Plus 'Y Meirionnydd' superb food and a def must for that special night out!
