The cottage was perfect with everything we needed. The owners kept checking everything was ok-they even bought the kids Easter eggs on our departure which was so kind of them. We hope to return one day to the stunning area.

Fantastic property in an idyllic location, we stayed for 3 nights over a weekend in Sept 2018. There was a beautiful home baked Victoria Sponge waiting for us and plenty of wood for the log burner, the location is 5 minutes from a large forest which was great for walks with our dog each day. The owners both came to introduce themselves and check we had everything we needed, both were so welcoming and helpful. We loved our time there.

The cottage was beautifully clean, laid out with Welsh tea awaiting us on arrival. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. It was wonderful arriving with a log fire newly installed and crackling away. Arwel and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The view from the dining room was stunning and we really appreciated having wifi.
Recommendations: Ruthin Castle grounds. We enjoyed walking round Llyn Brenig. We enjoyed walking round Coedwig Clocaenog and spotted a harrier hawk to our boys' delight.

The property was in a beautiful quiet location. The cottage was very homely and we particularly liked the log burner. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Ruthin is a lovely town and there are nice places to eat there eg. Castle Hotel. The Glynwydian hills are excellent for walking and views.
