I had for years a rule of not returning to any holiday place. I broke this rule for this cottage and I am going to come here for the third time too. Ideally located close to the local shop (significantly better with the new manager than 2018) and bus stop, but far enough from the through road to be quiet. Very comfortable, spacious and cozy. Magnificent Moel Siabod view from kitchen, calming pastures elsewhere. The village is quiet and offers relaxing wide views in all directions. Compared with it, the nearest town of Betws-y-Coed seems a crowded, noisy metropolis.

We've stayed in this cottage several times now. It a very clean and well equipped cottage in a very accessible location. There is plenty to see and do in North Wales so it is ideally situated to visit the many beautiful sites nearby.

Bwthyn yr Eglwys surprised me and exceeded my expectations, even though I choose holiday accomodation thoroughly and carefully. Behind the ordinary grey facade there is a spacious, comfortable and cozy home. Looks better than any photos. Well equipped with everything we needed. The thick, soft carpets make literally every step a pleasure. The village was incredibly quiet during our stay, air was pure and stars bright. Plenty of walks, easy to challenging, decent bus & train connections and friendly people. This idyllic place makes me break my rule of not holidaying in the same place twice.
