Lovely holiday cottage with everything you need for a lovely stay. Our little dog Poppy loved the window seat and to be able to watch everyone passing by. Enjoyed trips to Brixham, Torquay, Dartmouth, Exeter and a very rainy visit to Totnes

A perfect cottage for our week in Devon, and we were blessed with fantastic warm and sunny weather that enabled us to explore the area around Churston. Lots of dog walks around the SW Coastal Path, memorable visits to Coleton Fishacre, Greenway, Totnes, Brixham, Ferry over to Dartmouth and lots more! The Manor Inn at Galmpton was excellent for our evening meals - we also recommend the Guardhouse cafe at Berry Head. A very enjoyable stay, and the cream tea was a welcome surprise. Thank you!

A very enjoyable stay in your lovely cottage. The cream tea was welcome after a long journey too. This is a good centre with plenty of interest in the locality. We have visited Greenway and followed it with a lucky performance of Black Coffee at the Palace Theatre. Coleton Fishacre with its fine gardens and twenties feel was another good day. Other days we visited old haunts in Brixham, Paignton and Torquay and even the Babbacombe Theatre. there are some lovely restaurants within easy reach - if celebrating or treating yourself Beamers in Brixham has an excellent fish menu. Thank you for a comfortable stay - we shall certainly recommend it to friends!

Had a lovely week at Churston Cottage, even tho the weather was unking at times! Lovely walks along coastal path to the coves, Elberry being Sammy's most favourite! The walk from Churston to Paignton was fun and plenty of chances to stop off at various dog-friendly coves/beaches along the route. Took the steam train on a number of journeys which is a must. Cute little cafes were at Fishcombe Cove and Shoals at the Lido. For a lovely fish meal try beamers - worth the price tag. Also worth having a drive to Totnes - lovely little town and lots of good cafes. We came back via Dartmouth and over the river on the car ferry. Loads to do - we hope to come back soon!

The cottage at Churston Ferrers was the perfect retreat for as a couple with a dog - it was welcoming and offered comfortable and high quality accommodation. Churston Manor Hotel is literally at the bottom of the road and is totally dog friendly; as is a short walk to Elbury Cove beach (and whilst pebbly is dog friendly all year round). We hope to return.

We have really enjoyed our time at Churston Cottage, a week is never long enough. Sad to be leaving after a magical week on the South Trust sites (Coleton Fishacre is a must) and all the many pretty coves. The cottage was a welcome retreat to rest our weary legs after long day in the sunshine. We even managed to tire our Border Collies out, something we didn't know was possible. Thank you and hope to be back again soon.

Had a lovely relaxing week. The cottage made a great base and wish we had a dog! The Churston Court is worth a visit for it's weirdness - have a good look round it! Made use of the National Trust Card with a Greenway and Fishacre, a toss up for the best. Dartmouth is spectacular. Cockington is a hidden gem of older worldy and quaint cottages and crafts. Well worth a visit and bye for now!

We Arrived after a long wet drive and the we were delighted to get to the cottage. It's lovely... by the time we had unpacked and put the kettle on, the sun was shining. We've had a fab few days of lovely, sunny, bright weather. We walked to Brixham via battery Gardens had a breakfast in curious kitchen and spent the afternoon at Churston Cove with the dog and child. I even manage to read a book in the sunshine whilst the dog swam and child played. A fish and chip supper from Rock Fish at Brixham harbour is a must, delicious. Coming home from the cottage is lovely. We ventured to Torquay on the ferry - this was a lovely tip again the sun was shining for us. We took a picnic from products bought at Churston farm shop. The quiches are so tasty! We walked to Godrington via Elberry cove along the South West Coastal Path , as the house guide recommended and come back via steam train. The weather was rather blustery, hence the walk was out short but a beautiful scenic route. The steam train was a real delight. A day trip to Dartford on the car ferry then drove to Salcombe; the Sandy Beaches on a warm day were lovely. The Victoria Inn welcomes dogs so we stayed later for a dinner and got the ferry back at dusk - it was very pretty. The time here has been awesome, the cottage, a welcome, delightful base to explore the surrounding areas. We will be back! Thank you Emma & Buster for your lovely, cosy and toasty cottage!
