We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, clean, well-equipped cottage in such a beautiful part of Wales. The welcome pack and all the other thoughtful touches were much appreciated by us, as well as Barney the dog. We enjoyed numerous walks on local dog-friendly beaches, Newport Bay being a favourite.

Loved the cottage! Exactly what we needed! It's just a pity we have to go home. Considering this was our first visit to Pembrokeshire, we have fallen in love with the place. Fantastic beaches and coves, brilliant dog walks and really friendly people

A three generational holiday – great week away in this beautiful area. Stunning scenery wherever you walk along the coast path. Whitesands Bay, St David’s and revisiting the estuary path at Newport. Highly recommend this lovely, well-equipped house as it suited 6 adults and a baby comfortably. Thanks Gillian, for the welcome pack, homely touches and information.

We’ve had a wonderful stay in the cottage, thank you. So homely and one of the most well-equipped we’ve stayed in. Out and about, we enjoyed a lovely walk in Ty Canol ancient woodland – a really magical place. Cardigan cinema was very convenient for a wet-weather day. Newport village was great for a coffee and brownie @ Pwnc coffee shop. The Golden Lion serves lovely fresh food and specials. St Davids coastal walk – 7.5 miles on a sunny day was stunning.

Thank you for the wonderful 3 days! Deudraeth is so warm and homely! We felt very welcomed. The little details you’ ve take the time to add, give the house such charm. (book exchange ,lovely paintings, local walks and attractions, recommended places to eat etc). Everything was comfortable and easy to find. I would recommend all my family and friends to stay here in a heartbeat.

Another fabulous week at Deudraeth, the house as comfortable and cosy as ever! Really enjoyed the little treats you left for us, particularly the Welsh cakes. Had a lovely week finding secluded beaches off the Pembrokeshire costal path. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk from Porthclais to Porthlistky beach, a must. Definitely be back again, fantastic host & house, thank you

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cottage. The cava and welsh cakes provided on arrival was a lovely touch, and our golden retriever Finlay loved the dog treats too! The location is beautiful and we’ve been some fantastic walks nearby; Pwllgwaelod Beach round one corner was a lovely (albeit very windy) walk, as was Newport Sands and Poppit Sands – Finlay had an amazing time running through the sand dunes! Our boxing Day meal, kindly booked by Gill, was delicious; the Golden Lion is a truly lovely pub, with great food, lovely staff and a welcoming atmosphere – we went back several times! Would definitely recommend it. Overall, thank you very much for providing us with such a comfortable stay over Christmas!

03 Jan 2018

The pre visit emails were excellent and Gillian made every effort to provide us with information about the area and even booked a table at a local recommended pub for us on Boxing day. These little touches were marvellous and make us want to use your service again.

29 Jul 2017

Location is super. Just a short walk to the two beaches. Great garden, there is always somewhere where you can sit in the sun out of the wind. Property is well equipped end clean. Quiet and pleasant neighborhood.
Tips: Walk coastal path towards Fishguard and take the bus back or take the bus to Newport and walk the coastal path back to the property... beautiful walks and the bus stop is close by (Kiel House). The walk between the two beaches is lovely as well. Dinas Cross has a convient store with a wide range of products, Mace, Kiel House. Cafe on the Quay in Lower Fishguard - good food, good atmosphere

Carolien from Dordrecht, the Netherlands

05 Aug 2017

What a wonderful house! And what a super location! We enjoyed the nearby beaches and the peninsula Dinas Head. Kiel’s shop (Mace) has everything you need and Newport has even more. We enjoyed the surrounding – made a wonderful walk from Mynydd Melyn to Mynydd Carningli and the overwhelming panorama. In Newport we can really recommend the Canteen – we couldn’t believe the excellent reviews but it is all time! The young staff even learned us the basic Welsh!

In New Quay we saw quite some dolphins. The heavy sea state was not pleasant for all of us, though. But dolphins – big smile…a hidden jem is the Cwm Gwaun (afon Gwaun) valley – what a surprise! Also interesting to visit is the church at Nevern (wonderful), don’t forget to look at the gardens of the neighbours … the children of course loved the sea & beach and Wi-Fi. Rating: 5/5!

Mac Gillavry Family from Nootdorp, The Netherlands

12 Aug 2017

This house has provided us with a perfect ‘home away from home’. The location absolutely spot on for all the reasons of beautiful Pembrokeshire AND for being only one minute’s walk from Granny Rosemary!! The décor, practical provision and attention to detail make this a very welcoming place to be. We have had a wonderful week! We WILL be back! Thank you.

19 Aug 2017

We have had a wonderful week. Fantastic house and fantastic location. We went kayaking in Fishguard with a company called Kayak King, highly recommend them. They made the trip fun and safe, we even saw an Atlantic seal. We saw Dolphins in the bay to left of the house,

we walked up the path from the road. There are fantastic views of both beaches from the path, amazing sunsets. Newport beach is also worth visiting.

Molsey Family from Surbiton, Surrey.
