Thornham is an old smuggling village right on the North Norfolk Coast and now is one of the most popular villages to holiday for a short break or longer stay.
Wide expanses of saltmarsh separate the village from the sea and it is a paradise for walkers and bird watchers. The beach, reached by a walk over the sea defence over the salt marshes, is stunning and you will be rewarded for your efforts by the peace and quiet!
There are several great places to eat including Thornham Deli which sells all manner of local produce and great coffee, cake, breakfasts and lunches.
The Lifeboat Inn, an old smuggling haunt, complete with heavy beams and roaring fires, is delightful any time of year and The Orange Tree is a lovely gastro pub.
