A real treasure found in the Cotswolds, Mary’s Acre is a Grade II listed Cotswold stone house with a thatched extension dating back to the 17th century.

With an abundance of traditional features including two wood burning stoves and an open fireplace, flagstone flooring and exposed beams, complemented by the contemporary kitchen and bathrooms and Sonos sound system throughout, this beautiful home offers the best of both worlds.

A welcome basket of logs is provided.
A high chair and travel cot (Linen not provided) can be provided on request.

Ground Floor:
Entrance into a large hallway in the centre of the house.
Drawing room
With large inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove.
Television room
With feature fireplace and wood burning stove, 3D television with Blu-Ray player and Orbit Sound sound bar including iPod dock.
Dining room
With an open fire and a large oval table seating ten in comfort, perfect for celebrations.
Four large steps lead down to the fully fitted
Breakfast kitchen
Part of the thatched extension, with an AGA, dishwasher, two under counter fridges, a dual zone wine fridge, microwave and La Pavoni coffee machine. There is a large table which can be extended to seat eight, small LCD television with Freeview and DVD player and a Bowers and Wilkins iPod / iPhone dock.

With a small under the counter freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

First Floor:
Large spacious landing.
Bedroom one
With a double bed.
With a bath with shower attachment, separate walk-in shower, double wash basin, heated towel rail and wc.

The thatched extension has a

With wonderful views over the garden which can be accessed via a spiral staircase.
Please note that this staircase rising from the utility area may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.
Shower room
With a shower, wash basin and wc.
Please note that this bedroom and bathroom are separate from the rest of the 1st floor and can only be accessed through the kitchen. For this reason, this bedroom is not suitable for small children.

Second Floor:
Landing with window overlooking the garden.
With bath, separate walk-in shower, double wash basin, large mirror, heated towel rail and wc.
Master bedroom
With open beams and views across the garden and countryside beyond. It includes a super-king size bed, Rotel multi speaker music system with iPod / iPhone dock and digital radio also linked to the bathroom speakers. This bedroom leads on to a dressing room with built-in wardrobes, a dressing table and stool and a full length mirror.

Mary’s Acre is located in the quiet and picturesque village of Broad Campden which has a pub, the Bakers Arms featured in the Good Beer Guide and the Good Pub Guide and serves excellent food, a very short walk away.
Several long distance paths, and many footpaths run through the village.
The market town of Chipping Campden is just one mile away and boasts an excellent choice of pubs, bistros, restaurants and shops for guests to enjoy. Every year in late May the town hold the world famous Robert Dover’s Olimpick Games. A must see is the shin kicking and tug o’ war competition as well as many other sporting events.
For something different experience Longborough's increasingly popular 6 week Festival Opera in June and July.
Wander around Sezincote's magnificent gardens or Batsford Arboretum, Britain's most visited arboretum, particularly in the Autumn.
Otherwise, there is the National Trust’s Hidcote Gardens as well as Kiftsgate Gardens.
